T-minus 12 Hours and COUNTING!!

This is me right now....

Well.... obviously, it's not really me! But, this is pretty much what I am doing right now!! I'm watching the clock and waiting. I normally don't mind waiting, but today... I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve!! I can't wait to go to bed so that I can wake up and it will be TIME TO GO!!!

My bags are packed. My chores are done. All I am doing is ..... WAITING!!

I can still remember being in high school, in my last class of the day. I would sit and stare at the classroom clock on the wall and WAIT for the hands to MOVE!! They would take f--o--r--e--v--e--r to get to 3:10, when the bell would ring to let everyone know that the school day was over!

This is how I feel today. Those darn clock hands just WILL NOT MOVE fast enough!!

Haha!!! I just looked at the time that is RIGHT NOW...  and it is EXACTLY the time on THIS CLOCK!! I didn't notice that when I found the picture!!! That is too funny!!! ---- See!! My day really is going by slow!! It's only 1:59pm!!

Oh! But, wait!!! Almost exactly 12 hours from now... I will be waking up to get ready and head to the airport!!! WOW!!!!! I can officially say...

T-minus 12 hours and counting!!!

WAHOO!!!

The waiting is over... but, then again... it's not.

Well.... I got the long-awaited phone call. (See previous post)

I DO have a "malfunctioning gall bladder"!! ~ YIKES!

The nurse that called also said that she was going to call the surgeon and schedule an appointment for me. ~~ Double YIKES!!!

I have LOTS of questions for "Mr. Surgeon" before he does any cutting on me!! But.... first... I'll have to do more WAITING AGAIN before I can talk to him --- assuming that he is a "him".

Continued prayers, would still be appreciated.

Waiting and More Waiting!!

Why, oh why, do doctors office's like to keep you waiting... and waiting... and WAITING??

I had a HIDA Scan done on Friday of my gall bladder. (Click HERE to read my blog about my HIDA Scan adventure!) The hospital nurse-lady told me that I should hear from my doctor by Monday with the results. Well..... today is WEDNESDAY... and I have NOT recieved the long-awaited phone call, yet!! UGGGHHH!!

I am normally a very patient person, but since we are talking about my health here... I am just a "little" concerned, and would like VERY much to KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON INSIDE MY BODY????

I feel like my life is on HOLD. I feel like I can't make any plans until I know what the results are.

Is my gall bladder functioning correctly?? 
Or... is it a different problem??

Am I going to need surgery??  
Do I need to cancel our beach trip that we have planned??

I just want to KNOW!!! 

Sorry for all the "venting".

Please pray for me as I try to wait PATIENTLY. I need to remind myself of this verse:
