Narrowing the List

I have not been doing a very good job of following reading all of the blogs that I follow. I counted them last night and there were 101 on my list that I supposedly... "follow"!!! That is quite a lot!! And... WAY too many to be actually "reading".

The list had quite a lot of different kinds of blogs. Some were very "wordy". Some were "crafty", meaning that they were about making "crafts". Some were about "decorating". Some were about "photography". Some were about "blogging". Some were just for "fun".

So.... I decided to cut the list down and get rid of some of the blogs that no longer interest me and/or I never go to read any longer.

Many of the ones that I cut were "crafty" blogs and crafts don't really interest me any longer. Plus... if I want to know how to make something, I can just "Google" how to make it!

I also cut a few blogs that had to do with "blogging". I think I know how to blog now, and don't really need those any longer.

A couple were about photography and ONLY photography. I found myself skipping right over these.

I may lose a few followers because of my decisions, but that is ok. I am fine with that.

I bet many of you that are faithful followers of my blog are now a little worried that I may have cut YOU!! Don't worry. If you follow me faithfully, then that means that I follow you, as well! Many of you are so gracious as to even comment on my blog posts and I appreciate that so very much! I try to do the same for you.

Now, you would think that my list of blogs that I "follow" would be MUCH shorter..... NOPE! I still have 73 blogs on my list!!! Hahaaa!!

Whew!!!! Glad that's done!

I hate to admit it.... but, I just spent all morning REDESIGNING my blog! What I won't tell you is.... how long all morning was! Forgive me for all the changes, but because my background host had problems, it caused me to have background problems, too! While the host -- CUTEST BLOG ON THE BLOCK -- was getting their problems fixed, I uploaded one of the simple versions of BLOGGER backgrounds. If you are a loyal follwer of my blog ... THANK YOU!!, by the way!! .... then, you could probably tell that I wasn't too happy with it. I like things to be FUN & COLORFUL because that is my personality - At least that's what I think it is!

Anyway.... after a whole lot of frustration.... I now finally have a blog that I am happy with! Hope you are, too! I apologize to those of you that liked the "simpler" version better. Hope you'll continue to stick with me!

Now, I am off to actually get things done!! --- Oh wait!! First I have to blog, one more time!!

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

I just found out that website where I got my blog background from is no longer there!! (Cutest Little Blog) So.... I am having to redo my background and I can't get it right!!

Please bare with me (if you can read this!) until I can get it fixed.

I Want My Routine Back!

I have been lost in "Puppyland" for the past week and a half!

WOW! I had forgotten how much time a puppy consumes of your life! Even when they are sleeping, you are constantly "on watch" to make sure you SEE when they wake up, so that you can scoot them outside (quickly) to pee! Then, when they are awake... you are watching them like a hawk to make sure that theyaren't doing "puppy-like" things, such as chewing on your grandma's antique table or going potty on your expensive handwoven rug!

My time has not been my own during this time and my daily routine has gone out the window! If you know me well, you know that I do not do well when things are not going as I planned them! (That's that "control" part of me! Ha!) But.... I am slowly trying to find a "new" routine, and a new way of doing things.

My old routine consisted of me having quiet time with God each morning. God and I have a date each morning and we have coffee together. (Well, I'm not sure if HE's drinking coffee... but I am!) Since Chester arrived to our family, my time with God has been few and far between. (I'm sorry God! I really am!) Now, I read my devotions and say my prayers whenever I can find the time.

My old routine consisted of me working out on my Wii Fit Plus at least 30 mins a day. I haven't worked out on my Wii since we got Chester!! When he's sleeping, I am either afraid that I will wake him up, or I will be right in the middle of my exercises and he'll wake up and need to go out. (If you have a Wii Fit, then you know that stopping in the middle of a workout, isn't good.) I am proud to say that I am still getting in 10 miles of riding each week on my bike!

Another thing that I haven't done much of since we got the new puppy, is BLOG! In fact... this is the longest blog that I have written since we got Chester!! (He's sleeping at the moment. Shhhhh!!!) I haven't even had time to READ the blogs that I follow! UGH!

I also have a baby gift that I have been working on making for weeks now, and can't seem to find the time to finish it!! The baby is about to be born, too! Guess, it will be a late baby gift!

There are other things that are not getting done because my routine is so MESSED UP, but these are the things that are the top of the list.
